Secure Underlayment

We use capped nails instead of staples when installing synthetic underlayment. This prevents tearing and ensures better wind resistance.

Ice & Water Protection

We install self-adhering ice & water shield in valleys, eaves, and penetration points to protect against leaks and ice damming.

Drip Edge Installation

We install metal drip edges along the eaves and rakes, ensuring proper water runoff and preventing wood rot along the fascia.

Starter Shingles

We use starter shingles along all edges to prevent wind uplift and enhance roof durability, instead of relying on cut-up 3-tab shingles.

Proper Nailing

We use six-nail installation patterns for architectural shingles instead of the standard four nails, ensuring higher wind resistance (up to 130 mph).

Proper Ventilation

We install continuous ridge vents and soffit vents to maintain proper airflow, preventing moisture buildup and extending roof lifespan.

Performance Flashing

We use metal step flashing around chimneys, walls, and roof intersections, sealing every seam with waterproofing sealant to prevent leaks.
